Foam clay that is made for cosplay generally stays pretty flexible initially after it has cured but it eventually dries all the way through before it re-absorbs moisture from the air and becomes flexible again. If you don't seal the foam clay before it dries out you will have a more brittle piece and it could be at risk of cracking or breaking and usually it takes more time than you have, to wait for it to re-absorb moisture and become flexible again. Luckily, in this video, you will discover a trick I found for making your dry brittle piece more flexible and soft again.
