The face of the moon was in shadow

Have you ever purchased or downloaded a pattern for your cosplay character and you are super excited to save tons of time and make a legit looking helmet or armor piece but then halfway through you realize that it is going to be way too small for your big noggin, or that the pattern must have been made for a giant because it is huge on you?  Trust me, you are not the only one to have had this problem and it is in fact probably one of the biggest pain points when it comes to trying to leverage pre-made patterns.  Because it is such an issue I put together a little calculator on our website to help simplify the process of scaling an existing pattern to fit you.  It is so simple it is nearly fool proof.  All you need is two measurements, you plug them in and out pops the scale you need to use to convert the pattern.  In this video I'll show you how to use the calculator and what to do with the number that pops out. :)

Let me know what Cosplay Questions you might have and I will answer them in a video on this channel!

Here are links to some of the patterns I have available and to the calculator on our Website
